Online buying and selling. That is most of us think about when we hear "eCommerce."
And while that is correct, eCommerce is MUCH more than that. It's an emerging industry where a dynamic web presence is a prerequisite for success: 
web marketing, social medias, search engine optimization, entrepreneurship, etc.
Many opportunities exist for our diverse population and needs: hobbyists who want to sell their products online, web designers who want to design eCommerce sites for others, small businesses owners who want to expand their market on a global scale, managers of existing eCommerce sites who want to improve their Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and anyone who wants to be more efficient with mobile technologies and web communications!
Six Degree Options in eCommerce:
An eCommerce education will provide the foundation necessary for taking any business to the next level. Come join innovation as it happens at JCC in the eCommerce program…and launch your eCommerce site this semester!
Depending on their career goals, students may choose from six degree levels: skill sets, certificates, concentration, and associate degrees. The eCommerce Professional offers a well-rounded curriculum involving eCommerce courses, social medias, general studies, business and entrepreneurship courses. Students will study web design through both Microsoft® Expressions Web as well as open source software available free online.
