"Nicolette is a tough competitor, willing to do the little things to help the team win.  She's extremely athletic and long and will find most of her time at the forward position.  Unfortunately Nicolette injured her knee over the summer, but she's working hard to get helathy and contribute this year on the court."

2007-2008 Michigan Community College Athletic Association Honorable Mention All-Western Conference, when she set the standard for the Jets with a still standing team record 44 threes on the season. Medical Red-Shirt for 2008-2009 season. Honored three times while in high school by the  Basketball Coaches Association of Michigan (4th team,  Academic All State, All-Star Game MVP). Also while in high school, named Cascades All-Conference, Jackson All-Area, Dream Team 2nd Team, Orthapedic Rehab Prep Athlete of the Week, and Tripps Auto Scholar Athlete of the Week.  She lead her high school team to 3 conference championships, 3 regional championships, 3 final-four, and two state-runner up titles.

"Sam's a red shirt sophomore who brings valuable experience to our team.  Sam understands the game and is going to be looked to as a leader on this year's squad.  Sam's an excellent shooter with extreme 3-point shooting range.  Sam's worked hard coming back from multiple injuries, but we are all hoping that this year is her year to shine."

While in high school, Ashley was her team's captain and broke four school records.  She was named All-Conference Honorable Mention and Academic All-Conference.

"Ashley is a tremendous shooter from anywhere on the floor.  She's got as smooth of a stroke as anyone out there.  She's complimented her perimeter game with an inside game which should provide mismatches on the offense end of the floor."

"Alyssa's season was lost to injury only five games into our schedule. Alyssa has solid skills in the paint and on the perimeter.  She will play a hybrid position that will allow her to move inside our outside depending on the defensive personnel.  We look forward to having her presence back on the floor."

Leading team rebounder for 3 years in high school.  Her senior year, she was named to the First Team Greater Buckeye Conference and Division I First Team District 6. She participated in the 2009 WLEC Wendy's All-Star Classic and was named the game MVP.

"Victoria brings tremendous skill to the post position.  She runs the floor well and is unrelenting on the boards. She has the tools to be a dominant player."

Was medically redshirted for the 2007-2008 season.  Last year, Kala only allowed 6 turnovers for the Jets, for an impressive personal average of just 0.353 per game. While in high school named Team MVP twice, Big 8 All-Conference twice, Big 8 Academic All-American three times, Jackson All-Area Special Mention once.

Coaches Comments:
"Kala has faced tremendous adversity in getting back on the court, battling multiple knee injuries.  Kala is finally healthy and her game is showing it.  She's got a great nose for the ball off the boards and has been one of our hardest workers the past two years.  She is the definition of perseverance."
