Youth Summer Programs
Making Little Jets, Big Jets!
Looking for fun-filled summer adventures for your young person? Look no further than Jackson Community College! Whether their interest is sports, music, science or technology, young people can spread their wings at JCC this summer. Kids College includes several weeks of interactive and educational sessions for young people in elementary, middle and high schools. Summer band camp returns with an opportunity for young musicians to further their talent and have fun with other musicians. Sports camps are available for a variety of ages. Our programs will combine fun with age-appropriate learning, social and fitness opportunities!

Summer Band Camp
This camp is specifically designed for young musicians in grades 5-8 looking to have fun while learning new music and meeting other musicians. A final concert will celebrate two weeks of learning.

Jackson Community College and the Shop Rat Foundation are thrilled to partner in the creation of a STEAMM focused week of Kids College. STEAMM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics and Manufacturing. This partnership is in collaboration with the Jackson STEAMM Connection which promotes manufacturing and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) education for youth County wide.
STEAMM WEEK: July 8 - 12, 2013
JCC Sports Camps for youth ages 5 and up are designed to build and refine skills in a given sport in addition to increasing the overall physical fitness of participants. Sports camps are held from June to July at various timeframes and lead by JCC coaches.
