Innovative Grants
The JCC Foundation’s Innovative Grants program funds projects that will further the educational opportunities offered to JCC students. Because the Foundation’s mission is to support the College, a portion of gifts received and endowment earnings are made available to faculty, staff and administration to support new and innovative educational activities and programs. In fiscal year 2008-09, the Foundation funded seven requests totaling nearly $17,000.
Due to the difficult economic climate however, Innovative Grants will not be awarded in 2009-2010. Instead, the funds budgeted for grants will be used to enhance student scholarships and to help JCC students overcome financial difficulties.
