JCC cross country runner Jessica Olds finishes in top half at nationals
Congratulations to Jackson Community College cross country runner Jessica Olds, who finished in the top half at the National Junior College Athletic Association Championship, Division I, this past weekend in El Paso, Texas. Olds finished 88th out of a field of 199, with a time of 21:33 in the 5K run.
She finished the Jets’ initial season with a ninth place ranking in the state, earning an 11th place at the Region XII event Oct. 21 in Lansing. The top 10 overall ranking qualified her for the national NJCAA championship.
