Enjoy music in the open air at Front Porch Concert Series

Enjoy some great outdoor music as Jackson Community College hosts the Front Porch Concert Series this June.

The Front Porch Series welcomes community members to campus to enjoy great music in a comfortable, outdoor setting, on the “front porch” of the Potter Center facing the south parking lot. These concerts are fun, free, accessible and guaranteed – activities will move indoors in case of inclement weather.

The schedule for this year’s events will be:

  • Trombone Fest on June 17
  • Pre-Fourth of July Concert with the Jackson Community Concert Band on June 26
  • Band Camp Finale with young musicians on June 28

All concerts begin at 7 p.m. Audience members are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating. Barbecue dinner will be available for concert-goers for $6 beginning about a half hour before the performance and running through the show.
