August 14th, 2007 For immediate release New volleyball assistant coach hired
Jackson Community College is pleased to announce that Paula Ziegenfuss has joined the College as the new assistant volleyball coach. This will be her first season with JCC and her first collegiate coaching experience. Ziegenfuss played on the collegiate level for Cedarville University, a National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) and National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) nationally ranked team. She specializes in middle front and middle back, but her career has taken her all over the court. She was named All-American Mideast Conference South Division Honorable Mention and voted to the Cedarville Invitational All-Tournament Team. She also became captain in 2003 and led her team to a winning season which ended in Regional finals against Walsh University. Ziegenfuss graduated from Cedarville University with a Bachelor of Arts in comprehensive communications and a minor in Bible. She now resides in Jackson with her husband, Stephen, who is a mechanical engineer for SeaLandAire Co. |
