September 27, 2007 For immediate release New women's basketball assistant coach hired
Jackson Community College welcomes Ehrika Cornack as assistant women’s
basketball coach for the 2007-08 season.
Cornack lives in Tecumseh and coached at Tecumseh High School as the girls freshman coach for three years before coming to JCC. She played for Delta College for two years, then earned a Division I scholarship to play for the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. She graduated from Siena Heights University with a bachelor’s degree in social work. “I am really excited to be here at JCC,” Cornack said. “Very rarely do you get to be part of a program with a new team, new fieldhouse floor, and not taking over someone else’s mess. If we’re successful, it’s because of us. This is an amazing opportunity.” Cornack is married to husband, Chris, and has two children, a 5-year-old daughter Peyton and 2-year-old son Brennan. |
