For immediate release 'Last Comic Standing Live' promises evening of laughsGet ready to laugh out loud with the comedy of “Last Comic Standing Live” at 8 p.m. Nov. 9 at the Potter Center. “Last Comic Standing” is the NBC laughfest where the best professional and aspiring comedians from around the world vie for the coveted grand prize. Finalists from the last season include: Lavell Crawford, a comic who has built a strong fan base paying theatres, comedy clubs and colleges across the nation. He’s appeared on Comedy Central and headlined at LAFFAPALOOZA. Gerry Dee, Canadian comic and former schoolteacher who’s appeared on “The Late Late Show” and Comedy Central. Ralph Harris Jr., comic and actor who made his feature film debut in “Dreamgirls” and appeared in “Evan Almighty,” made cable TV specials for Comedy Central and HBO. Jon Reep, winner of last season. Hard-working comic whose been selling out clubs at colleges across the country, best known as the loveable redheaded redneck from Dodge’s popular ad campaign as the “Hemi guy.” Amy Schumer, fast-rising New York comic who can be seen regularly on Comedy Central and VH-1.
