November alumni workshop explores 'Multimedia'

Jackson Community College’s Alumni Association invites any interested alumni to attend an upcoming monthly series of computer workshops, with the next event Saturday, Nov. 10, exploring “Multimedia.”

  Multimedia is a term that encompasses so much today.  Officially, it is the “synergistic union of digital, video, audio, computer, information and telecommunications technologies.”  Preview the possibilities and get hands-on practice with iTunes, burning a CD, and more.

JCC’s alumni workshop series are hosted by current information technology personnel and student workers.  The workshop begin at 10 a.m. and runs till noon, with additional one-on-one time available from noon to 1 p.m.  It will be held in the new William Atkinson Hall, Room 120, on the Jackson campus.  Please RSVP early as spaces are limited; call Debbie Johnson, 517.787.0244, or e-mail JohnsonDeborahL01@jccmi.edu.  Cost is $10 per session and may be brought to the workshop. Cash or checks accepted, please make checks out to the JCC Foundation.
