JCC
signs two local volleyball players
Jackson Community College signed
two area high school students to the 2008 Jets volleyball squad Friday, Jenna
Bourdeaux of Western High and Kelsey Hinkle of East Jackson High.
Bourdeaux has played varsity
volleyball for Western since her junior year. She hopes to study English and is
excited about JCC’s new sports program. She received recognition at one of the
team’s tournaments.
Hinkle has played varsity
volleyball her four years of high school at East Jackson. She was named All
Conference three years and Most Valuable Player for three years. She chose JCC
because it is close to home, and she plans to study either pre-law or
psychology.
