JCC signs first volleyball player for 2009

Jackson Community College signed Coloma High School senior Samantha Ehlers to the women’s volleyball team for the 2009 season.

Ehlers is from the Watervliet area and has played varsity volleyball all four years for the Coloma Comets. She is a 5-foot-10 middle and should be a nice fit to JCC’s returning players, Coach Leigh Ann Swihart said.

During her high school career, Ehlers earned Academic All Conference honors each year, and earned Academic All State honors her sophomore year. 

She is the daughter of David and Bobbie Ehlers.
