Phonathon to raise dollars for scholarships, emergency fund
Answer the call for JCC students when the Jackson Community College Foundation hosts its second annual phonathon March 22 through April 9.
JCC students will be calling alumni and friends of the College to raise money for the general student scholarship fund, as well as the Harriet Myer Emergency Fund. The Harriet Myer Fund helped over 100 students last year with emergency situations, ranging from gas money to drive to school to money to purchase textbooks.
This year’s phonathon goal is $23,000. The College would like to thank everyone who takes the time to speak with one of the student callers.
