JCC student artists' works on display in Art Show
Jackson Community College will present its annual Student Art Show beginning April 9 and running through May 15 in the Potter Center Art Gallery, located outside Harold Sheffer Music Hall.
The art show will encompass works of students from all classes of studio art at JCC, including the Jackson campus and Lenawee and Hillsdale campuses from Spring ‘09, Fall ‘09 and Winter ’10 semesters. Advanced students in art will curate the exhibit, making the decision about what works should be displayed in a group effort with faculty. During upcoming JCC student art events, additional student works will be shown with a projector beamed above the studio.
This exhibit is free and the public is welcome. The exhibition is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and during performances at the Potter Center.
