Fausneaucht signs with University of Michigan-Dearborn

JCC women’s basketball’s Ashley Fausneaucht recently signed a letter of intent to attend school and play basketball for the University of Michigan-Dearborn next year.

Fausneaucht's shooting ability was noticed by NCAA Division I schools such as: The University of North Florida, Fresno State University and Northeastern. U of M-Dearborn stepped into the mix early and developed a strong relationship, and in the end Ashley's comfort with the school and program made her decision for her, women’s coach Andrew Hoaglin said.

Fausneaucht leaves JCC as the career leader in three-point efficiency and three-point goals made. She led the nation in three-point field goal percentage, connecting on 52 of 95 shots for a staggering 55 percent. She is a graduate of Hanover-Horton High School.
