Human resources professionals can advance their careers with SHRM prep course

Advance your career as a human resources professional with a new human resources certification preparation course, to be offered by Jackson Community College’s Corporate and Continuing Education office. The series will run on Tuesday evenings from Sept. 14 through Nov. 16 on the Jackson campus.

JCC is partnering with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) to bring the SHRM Learning System to Jackson, Lenawee, and Hillsdale County HR professionals. This series will assist entry level as well as seasoned HR professionals with maximizing their efforts to positively impact their organizations. Participants who wish to advance their career in human resources or establish new competencies within the field are strongly encouraged to enroll. The SHRM Learning System prepares individuals for the National PHR and SPHR Certification Exam. PHR/SPHR certification validates an individual’s mastery of the HR field and is a key workforce credential.
