Jets sign two to men's basketball team

Jackson Community College signed two men’s basketball players for the coming year to the Jets team recently. They include:

  • Jordan Union, 6-foot-1, 2010 graduate of Jackson High who played guard for the Jackson Vikings. Union was a member of the National Honor Society and received a Capital Area Athletic Conference All-Conference Honorable Mention honor. “Jordan is an athlete – his determination and athleticism will help drive this team,” said coach John Willis. “He is a quiet but focused leader. He wants to win and is willing to work hard to do so. His academic and athletic ability gives us a very special individual.”
  • Donovan Frazier, 6-foot-5, 2010 graduate from Grand Rapids who played center for the Creston High Polar Bears. “Donavan is a very mature young man,” Willis said. “He’s long, athletic and tenacious on defense. He has the character we want to be representative of JCC basketball.”
