Participating in Politics topic of free forum

Jackson Community College will offer a free community workshop on Participating in Politics, from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 16 in Federer Rooms B/C, Potter Center on the Jackson campus. This program is presented by JCC’s Corporate and Continuing Education office.

This free workshop will provide community members with valuable information regarding the political process, why it’s important to be engaged and in the loop, and how to get involved. Participants will learn about activities at the federal, state and local level, constitutions, how a bill becomes a law, political campaigns, and much more! Voter registration applications and additional educational information will be available.

All community members are invited to take advantage of this free opportunity to learn about community engagement!
