JCC to host Hudson-area author Janet Kauffman

Jackson Community College will welcome author Janet Kauffman to campus from 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 14 in Federer Room A, Potter Center.

Kauffman is the published author of nine books of fiction, nonfiction and poetry, and will read from her most recent book “Trespassing: Dirt Stories & Field Notes,” on the factory farm crisis in her watershed. She works for sustainable agriculture with Environmentally Concerned Citizens of South Central Michigan and on watershed protection with the Bean/Tiffin Watershed Coalition. She lives in Hudson, Michigan.

The evening will also feature readings by JCC creative writing students. It is hosted by John Yohe, writing instructor. The community is invited to this free event!
