JCC faculty to present at October Poetry Night

JCC Poetry Night is coming to Bella Notte Ristorante in Jackson, at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 26.

October’s event will feature Maria Orlowski, a JCC instructor who writes under the pen name Miriam Winter and is the author of “Trains: A Memoir of a Hidden Childhood During and After World War II,” and Martha Petry, JCC professor who teaches writing, dance and humanities.

There will also be a semi-open microphone before featuring JCC students and community. The event is hosted by John Yohe, JCC writing instructor.

Bella Notte Ristorante is located at 137 W. Michigan Ave., Jackson, 517.782.5727. Poetry Night will be held on the second floor.
