Etta May brings comedy cure for American family

Jackson Community College will welcome comedian Etta May to the Potter Center stage at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3 for Dr. Etta, Family Specialist.

This new one-woman show from award-winning comedian is a hilarious and heartfelt look at the breakdown of the American family. This two-act play, staged as a seminar, makes you laugh one minute and cry the next. It’s common sense for the common man! The family of the 21st century is deathly ill and Dr. Etta has the cure!

The star of the sellout tour “Southern Fried Chicks,” Etta May is a regular on CMT and winner of the prestigious Female Comic of the Year Award. Etta May is a seasoned performer with a huge fan base and reputation that adds up to an incredible following. A favorite of XM & Sirius radio’s comedy channels plus the syndicated Bob & Tom show, Etta May has national appeal.
