Bullock honored as player of week for women’s basketball
Jackson Community College is pleased to announce that women’s basketball player Erika Bullock has been named the National Junior College Athletic Association’s Division II Player of the Week.
Bullock is honored for her performance in games last week. She posted a double-double on Dec. 2, then came back and recorded a quadruple-double in the following game on Dec. 4. The 14-point 10-rebound double-double came in a loss against Davenport. In a double overtime thriller against Edison State, Bullock logged 31 points, 11 marked Bullock’s second triple-double of the season.
Bullock is a sophomore student-athlete in both basketball and softball. Last year, she was named Honorable Mention All-Michigan Community College Athletic Conference in both basketball and softball. She plans to major in science, and is also a resident assistant in student housing. She is a Michigan Center native and graduate of Lumen Christi High School.
