Campus View student housing model open, tours available

Construction continues on Jackson Community College’s new student housing complex, Campus View, and a model unit is now ready and tours are available.

Campus View features 24 units with space for 96 residents, with a live-in manager. Units have four bedrooms designed for one resident each, two bathrooms, living room, kitchen and storage room. Each unit has phone and cable TV ready connections, and the facility has wireless high-speed Internet. Some handicap accessible units are available. Amenities include study spaces on every floor, a common laundry and vending room, elevator access, multiple security measures and more. There will be a convenience store for snacks and necessities, programs and activities for residents.

JCC is now leasing for the Fall 2007-Winter 2008 school year. Rent is $425 per month, per person, and the standard lease is 12 months. Interested residents may tour Campus View from 12:30-1 p.m. Mondays, Thursdays or Fridays, or any weekday from 4:30-5:30 p.m. To arrange for a tour or for more information, contact the Office of Residence Life at 517.796.8455.
