Truck Driver Training Academy Welcomes Future Drivers

Jackson Community College’s Truck Driver Training Academy hosted a successful open house Saturday, June 9, at its site at 1300 Falahee Road, Jackson. Attendance was strong with nearly 75 interested individuals receiving information about truck driving opportunities.

JCC offers truck driver training in cooperation with HR Career Development at the Falahee Road site in Michigan Center. Training prepares students to test for the Michigan class “A” commercial driver’s license (CDL) test, required for commercial heavy truck and tractor-trailer drivers. Students learn through classroom and hands-on training over just 21 days, and classes begin weekly.
