Spring baseball camps coming in February 

Get ready for baseball action as Jackson Community College hosts baseball spring training camp from noon to 3 p.m. Feb. 2 and Feb. 23 in the Victor Cuiss Fieldhouse on the Jackson campus.

Baseball players ages 8 to 18 are invited to participate in a camp that will provide individual attention in small groups divided by age and taught by professional staff, coaches and players. Players will learn about pitching mechanics, hitting fundamentals, infield play, outfield play, base running and catching.

Participants should bring a bat, batting gloves, glove, practice gear (baseball/sweatpants, shirt, etc.), helmet, and a positive attitude!

Cost is $40 per session. Deadline is Friday, Jan. 25 for the Feb. 2 session, and Feb. 15 for the Feb. 23 camp.  For a registration form, please call Rick Smith, 517.796.8592, or the JCC Fieldhouse office at 517.796.8455.
