Previously enrolled students Students have five academic years to apply for graduation from the time they completed their last course at JCC or completed a course at another institution that they are transferring to JCC for degree completion. The catalog in effect at the time of application will apply. You must apply for graduation by the following dates:
After you have submitted your application for graduation. An official degree audit will be conducted by our Records Office. You will receive a copy of the official degree audit. Your degree audit will inform you of any deficiencies you may need to complete in order to receive your degree. If you indicated you would like to walk in the commencement ceremony you will receive a an information packet a few weeks prior to the commencement ceremony. Commencement is held annually in early May. Previous Summer, Fall, and Spring graduates who have not participated in a commencement are invited to attend. Spring semester graduates are invited to attend if they: Apply by the March deadline At the end of the term for which you applied to graduate in, a final degree audit will be conducted. The list of all candidates for graduation is submitted to the Board of Trustees for approval. Your diploma will then be mailed to you.
