The student who completes this program will be prepared to act as a liaison between engineering staff and journeymen. Coursework in design areas gives the student the ability to understand and interpret engineering language and concepts. Coursework in the manufacturing areas gives the student the ability to understand and apply those concepts in the manufacturing arena. This certificate would be of assistance to current journeymen who desire to become a part of the management team.
