Friday will bring the first Gaming Night to Jackson Community College. The tournament will use PlayStation 2 and Xbox formats, and the game will be "Madden 06."
The Phoenix asked random students on campus which format they use, which is their favorite game and why.
Peter Elam plays on his PC. His favorite games are Joint Operations and Halo. "They are fun to play, and it gives me something to do when I have nothing to do."
Justin Clemons uses Xbox. Clemons recalled playing on Super Nintendo one of his favorite games, "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles." He also enjoys "Unreal Championship 2."
"Just fun cool games."
Brad Choate plays on his PC because his PlayStation 2 is broken.
"Of all time, 'MegaMan Series' on Nintendo is a classic and has the best theme songs. Currently my favorite would be 'Star Wars Battlefront.'"
Mana Nelson occasionally plays either on her PlayStation or PC. Her favorite games are "Devil May Cry" and "Final Fantasy 8."
"I really like strategy and role playing games - RPG."
