Jackson Community College is bringing sports back, starting with men's and women's cross country for the fall 2006 semester. This move was largely because of Jackson residents clamoring for JCC to make such a change.

By the time I had reached high school I had figured out what I wanted to do with my life. I have always loved to nurture people. I have always put others' best interests in front of my own.

There's a certain predator lurking in the shadows of local malls, stalking our country's male population. Specifically, young males who may be college students, or future college students.

When Grandpa told you that he walked 10 miles to school uphill both ways, in blinding snowstorms, every day for years without uttering even one complaint, he wasn't speaking literally. He could have been describing the task of paying for a college education.

The forensics program at Jackson Community College will go on with a new conductor next year, but don't expect the forensics train to slow down any time soon.
