The New Shanghai Circus will make you say, “Are you kidding me?”

The New Shanghai Circus is a unique and entertaining show. It features breathtaking feats of balance, strength, endurance, flexibility, and contortion. To do a back flip and not break one’s neck would be the achievement of a lifetime for the average person. That’s just the warm up for these performers.
From start to finish, the New Shanghai Circus is all action. The rubberized dancers, contortionists, and acrobats  defy gravity, logic, and all other laws of science as if it does not apply to them.
Can a boy stretch out on a high wire and do circles around the wire, using only his feet and head? Is it possible for a woman to suspend herself, in mid air with, both her feet touching her nose and her arms out stretched, while she holds her self up on a wooden peg by using only her chin? Yes, it is!
Every member in the circus can stand on their hands as they were not hesitant to show you. That however wasn’t enough for them. They then proceed to, while standing on their hands, spin plates, giant vases, and large tables using only their feet.
The producer of the show, Lizhi Zhao is also the artistic director. Zhao is highly respected in the U.S and in China as an avant-garde entrepreneur. After seeing the show one can easily figure out why.
Fun for the whole family, the New Shanghai Circus is well worth the price of admission.
