Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

The American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course is designed for healthcare professionals who respond to emergencies involving pediatric patients in and out of the hospital to enhance their treatment knowledge and skills. This course emphasizes the importance of basic life support (BLS), integration of effective BLS with PALS interventions, and effective team interaction and communication during resuscitation. Students who successfully complete this program will receive certification from the American Heart Association.
