Welcome To JCC's CIS Department

The computer information systems program is designed specifically to prepare students to design and manage computer based information systems. Combining concepts of computer science, computer hardware design, software engineering, and management, the programs provide an in-depth understanding of the analysis and design of computer based management systems and the management of the information resource. The program intends to acquaint the students with the design and management of information systems ranging from those using desktop systems to large mainframe systems.
