Anthony Cleveland

Anthony Cleveland

Anthony Cleveland, assistant professor of psychology, worked for 20 years in the business sector before deciding it was time for a change.

Cleveland has been teaching psychology for four years now at Jackson Community College. He had worked for General Electric, and later for ICI, a British chemical company headquartered in London, which gave him background and insight in business affairs and people.

Looking for a change from his business career, Cleveland went back to college and became a psychologist, then went into private practice seeing clients. He began teaching at JCC as an adjunct instructor part-time, then received a full-time position as one became available. He is beginning his fourth year at JCC.

He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Toledo, and his master's degree from Michigan Theological Seminary. He is beginning his fourth year at JCC.

"I love it, I absolutely love it," Cleveland said.
