The Language, Literature and Arts department at Jackson Community College offers a variety of quality courses in the liberal and performing arts to help students better express themselves, improve reasoning skills, develop talents and advance abilities. Course topics include Art, Communications, Dance, Early Childhood & Teacher K-12 Education, English (Literature, Reading, and Writing), Humanities, Music, Philosophy, Theatre, Video Production, and World Languages (English as a Second Language, French, German, and Spanish).
