COLLEGE
Kids College is a
series of interactive workshops designed especially for sixth, seventh, and eighth
graders.
These week long sessions
help students develop their imaginations, voices and bodies by teaching
skills which help them grow - both as artists and as people.
In
addition, these workshops come gift-wrapped in
a setting that's warm, nurturing, supportive and extremely fun.

Enjoy a week
of theatre learning and fun - acting workshops, acting
warm ups, theatre decor um,
make up demonstrations, theatre lingo, exploring
the theatre upstage,
down stage backstage, and
under the stage. Write
and perform your own short play.

 SING
YOUR HEART OUT -
Sing
with the piano, play piano for singers, or do both during this week
of vocal expression. A final performance features the best
of what you do!

POTTER - Get your hands into the clay, work on the potter's
wheel, and have fun. Make toad houses, gargoyles, and shakers
- your own creations that you can take home with you.

SHOWBIZ KIDS -
Explore the secrets of performing onstage as a singing group -
using choreography and gesture
to bring zing to your singing. Be part of a final performance

SUMMER BAND
CAMP
- Jackson Community College
Band Camp provides an outstanding musical experience for young
musicians. The morning session focuses on the particular needs
of students who have completed the first year of instruction, while
the afternoon is for students with more than one year of
instruction, but who have not yet attended high school. A
"Finale" concert celebrates two weeks of learning!
