Students learn strategies that will help them communicate with more success. IntermediateIntermediate I CSS 090, 2 contact hours +Fee Intermediate II CSS 091, 2 contact hours +Fee This course is designed for student with an understanding of some English grammar and who can communicate with native speakers. At this level, students increase their vocabulary and their understanding of grammatical structures. They continue to enhance their communication strategies. AdvancedAdvanced I CSS 095, 2 contact hours +Fee Advance II CSS 096, 2 contact hours +Fee This course is designed for students who understand and employ many English grammatical structures and converse with native speakers. Students at this level practice advanced comprehension strategies and continue to refine their communication skills. Reading CSS 097, 3 contact hours +Fee This course helps students improve reading and vocabulary skills in preparation for employment and college-level classes. Basic skills are practiced and supported. Speaking and writing in English are significant components.
