Drama Club

The Drama Club at JCC is a social and service club that meets weekly to plan various projects and fundraisers. Drama Club is made up of students that have an interest in theatre and theatre related activities. You do not have to be in a theatre class or a theatre major to be in Drama Club. It is open to anyone that has an interest in theatre.

2006 was a busy year for the club. In May 2006, Drama Club went to Chicago to see the musical WICKED and to visit museums. December 2006, Drama Club participated in their major community service project --assisting the Lyle Torrant Center School in their annual fundraising breakfast. Also in December, the club successfully produced Celeste Raspanti’s play “I Never Saw Another Butterfly” about Jewish children during the Holocaust.
