Welcome!
The Music Department at Jackson Community College is very important to JCC, students, and the community. It is our intention to encourage students to pursue music as a vocation, or an important life-long avocation.
Course topics include Guitar, History of American Popular Music, Keyboard, Music Education, Music of Non-Western Cultures, Music Theory, Understanding Music and Voice.
Our music performance course are an outstanding opportunity for people to join throughout the year. Course topics include, African Drum Ensemble, Jackson Community Concert Band, and Jackson Community Chorale.
