Registration Information
Registration for the first administration of the 2009 – 2010 program year will open on August 11, 2009. Candidates may register for MTTC test administrations online at the MTTC website. The 2009 – 2010 registration information flyer can be downloaded as a PDF from the website as well.
Important Program Information
The MTTC website provides up-to-date registration and testing information, test preparation materials, and services that enable candidates to register and obtain their test results online.
Bilingual Education Test
Beginning with the October 17, 2009, test administration, one Bilingual Education test (Field 075) will be available for candidates seeking to be certified in this area.
New and Redeveloped Tests
The following subject-area tests were updated or developed and will be implemented as of October 2009: (075) Bilingual Education (formerly called Bilingual Tests), (026) Latin, (058) Physical or Other Health Impairment, (formerly called Physically or Otherwise Health Impaired), (027) Russian, and the new field of (102) Arabic (Modern Standard).
Thumbprinting
The identification policy for MTTC test administrations has been updated. As part of the identity verification process, your thumbprint will be taken at the test site. Thumbprints will be used only for the purpose of identity verification. If you do not provide a thumbprint, you will not be allowed to test and you will not receive a refund or credit of any kind.
Changing Contact Information
If the administration or score report contact information for your institution has changed, please follow the steps below to update this information.
Administration Contacts. To update your institution’s administration contact information, call the MTTC Program at (800) 998-3787 and speak with the program representative.
Score Report Contacts. To update your institution’s score report contact information, fax the updated contact information on your institution’s official letterhead to (413) 256-7090. Please include the name, address, phone number, and e-mail address of the new score report contact. This information is required in writing due to the confidential candidate information that score report contacts may access.
