Life Time Learning Courses

Mentoring

JCC encourages adjuncts to cultivate a mentor relationship with a full-time faculty member. The two teachers work together on a plan that actively supports teaching and learning, while recognizing the individual needs of the adjunct faculty member. Mentoring activities can include: weekly or monthly meetings, reciprocal classroom observation, discussion of teaching strategies and lesson plans, and professional development planning. Contact your lead faculty to request a mentor.
