Campus View II Construction Gallery
Jackson Community College broke ground July 14 on its second student housing unit, Campus View II. With JCC's first student housing unit full, the Board of Trustees in March authorized design work to begin on a second unit. Plans are for the unit to be similar in design to the current building, with the addition of a half basement for student activities. Constuction cost is $8 million. Anticipated completion date for the project is July 2009, in time for Fall 2009 semester move-in.
