Griehs, alumnus of Jackson Community College and Vice President of Investor Relations, Campbell Soup Company has traveled the globe with two great Fortune 500 companies. He attributes his success to the great values shaped in the Midwest. After graduating from Parkside High School, Len attended JCC and graduated with his associate in arts 1967. He then transferred to Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti and received a Bachelor of Business Education degree in 1970. He later obtained an MBA in Finance from Grand Valley State. At Gerber Foods, Len progressed to Manager of Investor Relations and Pension Fund Investments. In 1990 he was recruited to Campbell Soup Company in Camden New Jersey. He is known for both professional and community service currently serving on the national Financial Accounting Standards Advisory Council. In the past he has been a leader for the United Way, American Red Cross and Catholic Social Services foster-care program. His exceptional accomplishments, combined with his strong support of the community college concept and the larger community in which he lives, truly embody the character of Dr. Ethelene Jones Crockett and the spirit of the College’s Distinguished Alumni Award. |
