2009: Thomas R. Draper
Thomas R. Draper was born in Jackson, MI and was a 1964 graduate of Parkside High School. He attended Jackson Community College and graduated in 1966, then went on to receive a BBA from Michigan State University in 1968. Tom served in the US Army Reserves for six years.
Tom joined the securities firm Watling Lerchen & Coin 1973, then left to join A.G. Edwards securities in 1977, where he served as Senior Vice President of Investments until his retirement in 2008.
Tom has been active in his community and has served on a number of boards, including The Dahlem Environmental Center, Ella Sharp Museum, The Vestry of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, and the Country Club of Jackson. He currently serves on the Jackson Community College Foundation Board of Directors.
Tom is married to Jeanne Draper, who works as a CPA. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, travel, and boating.
