Aaron Adams

Notes: Was one of the top runners for his high school cross country team.

Coaches Comments: Aaron works hard and puts 100% effort in during workouts.  He returns this year with high ambitions of finishing the season on the Varsity squad (top 7).  Last year, as a freshman, he ended the season as our number 8 runner.

Michael Blystone

Notes: Eagle Scout

Coaches Comments: I expect Mike to be in our top seven.  He has a strong work ethic and will perform better in a 5 mile race than a 5K.

Austin Brue

Notes: MVP, Coaches Award, Varsity Letter.

Coaches Comments: Austin completed the season last year on a positive note after reducing his time by 2 minutes and 26 seconds at the Regional meet on the 8K course.  He will have a positive impact on the dynamics of the team, due to his personality and attitude.

Kevin Casey

Notes: Part of 2008 Regional Championship Team.  Part of 2006, 2007, 2008 Big 8 Championship Team.

Coaches Comments: Kevin ran cross country in high school.  His specialty is track, in the shorter distances (400M & 800M).  It will take him a while to adjust to the longer racing.  His responsibility will be more of a leadership role.

Ryan Donahue

Notes: 1st team All-County and state qualifier.

Coaches Comments: Ryan will challenge our sophomores this year for a top spot.  He was one of the top runners last year in the cross country championships.

Michael Dulworth

Notes: CAAC Senior Scholar Athlete

Coaches Comments: Mike returns as our number three runner from last year, and our number one freshman.  As our core leader returning, it is my expectation that Mike will take more control of the group as a whole.

David Hudson

Coaches Comments: David looks to improve on his personal best that he ran in 2007.  He returns to the program after taking a year off, due to his involvement in the military.

Joshua Kinney

Notes: Dean's List Winter 2009, All-Conference 2006, All-Area 2006.

Coaches Comments: Josh has overcome many obstacles to get where he is today.  I expect him to take what he has learned and apply it so that it will benefit this year's team.

Brenden Martin

Notes: 4 x 800 school record, 4 x 800 All-State Honors.

Coaches Comments: Brenden will be a great addition to the team.  He is self-motivated and excited to be running competitively again.  I see him as being one of our top runners of the team.

Joel Medina

Notes: 2nd team All-County, and state qualifier.

Coaches Comments: Joel will adjust fairly quickly to the 5 mile distance race and should be a contributing force to the top seven.

Grant Race

Notes: For his senior project in high school, Grant wrote a short 8 page novel.  He did this to see how far he has gotten over his learning difference (dyslexia).

Coaches Comments: New to cross country. New to running. Grant will learn and improve by leaps and bounds.  He started training this summer for a new experience.

Jordan Tripp

Notes: All-County and All-Conference in cross country.  All-Conference Honorable Mention 3200M run, All-County 3200M relay. Graduated with high honors.

Coaches Comments: Jordan's summer training and racing will prepare him for the Fall's cross country team.  I also expect him to be in our top seven.
