Jackson Community College faced off against the Express of Owens Community College on Monday. The Express scored 2 goals in the first five minutes off great long ball soccer. The Jets settled in and began playing well when Owens finished off the half with another great long ball combination to their speedy forward.
The second half saw better play from the Jets, although the Express were still effective with the long ball. Owens was able to put 2 more away, as Jackson used their reserves for a large portion of the second half.
The Jets look to rebound on Wednesday as they host conference opponent Ancilla Community College.
