Course accounts are not available until after 3 p.m. the business day following registration.
1. To begin connect to the internet through your ISP (Internet Service Provider)
2. Open your Internet Explorer Browser or Netscape Navigator
3. You can go to http://www.jccmi.edu and click on the "Online Classes" button at the bottom right of the screen.:
4. The Online Classes button will take you to the login screen below:

5. You can also go to the web address http://classes.jccmi.edu to login to Educator. Below is a picture of what the screen will look like:

Either page will allow you to access your course.
6. New User Name – Students and Employees
Student’s new user name 771@stu.jccmi.edu
Employee’s new user name 771@jccmi.edu
“771” is JCC’s shorthand for the first seven letters of your last name, the first seven letters of your first name, and your middle initial.
For example, Heathcliff Thomas Huxtable's login as a student would be: huxtablheathclt@stu.jccmi.edu
if he was an employee of JCC his login would be: huxtablheathclt@jccmi.edu
7. Type in your password.
Your password will be: The
first letter of your first name (Capitalized) and
first letter of your last name (lower case), two digits of your day of birth, the last two digits of your birth year, and the last four digits of your JCC student I.D. number.
Example: If your name is Jane Smith, born on 5/4/70 with a student I.D. of 0125634, then your password will be:
Js04705634
8. After typing in your username and password, click on the login button as see in the image above.
9. You will know you are logged in to Educator when you see a list of the courses you are enrolled in as seen in the image below:

If you are only enrolled in one course, you will be logged in to that course automatically and will not see a listing of courses to choose from.
Troubleshooting tips if you are unable to login
1. Remember that your login will not work until the first day of the semester.
2. If you have tried typing in your username with your middle initial, try logging in again and type your username without your middle initial.
3. If you tried typing in your username without your middle initial, try logging in again and add your middle initial when typing your username.
