Blast! is the winner of the 2001 Tony® Award for “Best Special Theatrical Event” and the 2001 Emmy Award for “Best Choreography.” It is music in motion: Ranging from classical to the blues; it is jazz, rock and roll, and techno-pop. Creating a new genre with color, light and movement, Blast! explodes with exciting young artistry as it merges marching band and drum corps style in a theatrical performance not soon forgotten.
