LTL 403, a Medical First Responder class, is a 16 week class which prepares students for positions involving public safety including police and fire departments. Students that successfully complete the program will be eligible to sit for the National Registry Program. One they pass the Registry Exam they can be licensed in the State of Michigan.
The cost is $230.00 plus registration and books
The American Heart Association CPR course is designed to teach non-medical responders including corporate and retail employees, security, law enforcement, health and fitness staff or anyone who needs basic CPR certification.
This program will prepare students to identify and begin treatment of common life-threatening emergencies such as:
- A person having a heart attack or stroke
- A person suffering from cardiac or respiratory arrest
- A person who is choking
- A child or infant with a respiratory or cardiac emergency
