We will walk you through the process of filing your online Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the 2009-20010 and/or 2010-2011 school year. Please bring your 2008 and 2009 Federal tax return, driver's license, Social Security number, records of untaxed income, recent bank statements and a Department of Education PIN number*.
For those individuals who are dependent, you will need all of the above information for your parents also. Typically, you are a dependent if you are under 24 years of age, are single and have no dependents who receive half of their support from you. Call to verify your status.
*If possible, please apply for a PIN (personal identification number) at www.PIN.ed.gov prior to this workshop.
