The username format for logging into My Student Email is the first seven letters of your last name, first seven letters of your first name, and your middle initial followed by @my.jccmi.edu.
Example: If your name were Jane Anita Smithson, you're username would be: smithsojanea@my.jccmi.edu.
Your initial password for your e-mail will be in the following format:
First letter of first name capitalized, first letter of last name in lowercase, 2 digits of your day of birth, the last two digits of your birth year, and the last four digits of your student I.D. Example: Default Password (pdf)
NOTE: Once you change your student email password from the initial password, it will not be the same as the JCC network password you use to login on campus, for e-Services and for JetNet. To change your student email password log in to: http://login.live.com.
My Student E-mail accounts are created one business day after completion of your student application and acceptance to Jackson Community College. Accounts are currently available for Student Applicants and Students who have been registered for a class within the last two years.
Your My Student E-mail mailbox size is 10GB. Students can send messages to as many as 5,000 recipients at a time. Messages are limited to 20MB or less in size including attachments. Student messages will be deleted from the system after 365 days of inactivity.
